Empowerment Ethics: Bending Towards Righteousness and Justice

In a landmark decision, the former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was recently found guilty on three counts in the trial over George Floyd’s death.
Dr. Cedric Johnson facilitates training and develops curriculum for the Incubator Collective, CTC’s innovative urban church planter training program. Cedric counts it a privilege to be a training resource for church planters who are bi-vocational as well as those who desire to serve multicultural and marginalized communities. Before joining CTC, Cedric worked for six years on the faculty at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington DC. He holds a Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary and has close to twenty years of urban ministry experience. Cedric and his wife, Veronica, live in downtown Brooklyn where they are planting a missional collective called Kinetic. He enjoys tennis, live music performances and long walks on the beach.
