Equipping Our Church for
Community Renewal

Fall 2024 Cohorts meet monthly on Mondays (6:30-9:00 pm) | or via Zoom (7:00-9:00 pm).
Session topics include the following:

Session 1 - Sep 9, 2024 Knowing God: Seeking the Peace of our Community*

Session 2 - Oct 7, 2024 Knowing Ourselves: Developing a Vision for Comprehensive Renewal

Session 3 - Nov 4, 2024 Knowing Our Neighbors: Their Needs, Hopes and Assets for a Better Future

Session 4 - Dec 2, 2024 Knowing Our Congregation: Their Readiness for Community Engagement

Session 5 - Jan 6, 2025 Strategic Investment in Community Renewal: Mobilizing our Congregation* *In-Person Sessions.

Cohort Completion Requirements:

  • You must attend at least four of the five sessions (1 absence allowed)
  • Completion of monthly assignments & session evaluations
  • One Church Leader designated to complete Exit Survey outlining Church CE Activities after the last session

Shenaya Dias Classroom & Student Success Coordinator, City Ministry Program

Shenaya Dias works for Redeemer City to City as the Classroom and Student Success.

Coordinator for the City Ministry Program (CMP) at Redeemer City to City. She is originally from Negombo, Sri Lanka, but she has been in New York for the past four years. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics, Pre-Law from Fordham University. Prior to this position, Shenaya worked as a Paralegal Specialist for the US Department of Justice in Manhattan. She is also an unreached prayer writer for the Joshua Project. A fun fact about Shenaya, she used to be a competitive Ocean/Sea Swimmer back in Sri Lanka. Some of her hobbies include playing the piano and traveling.
