Statement on COVID-19

Redeemer City to City (CTC) continues to closely monitor updates about COVID-19 and its ever-changing impact on cities and their residents around the world. Our first priority is the health and safety of all, particularly the most vulnerable who are most at risk for medical complications.

CTC is in full operation and staff are working remotely with regular business hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EDT.

To protect the health of our staff and program participants, City to City New York City is conducting their programs and classes virtually. We encourage all CTC networks and regional affiliates to monitor the situation in their cities and structure all in-person gatherings, including training, as a virtual experience, or postpone until a later date. As disruptive as these changes may be, it is a great opportunity to embody the gospel vision to love our neighbors and seek their welfare (Jer 29:7). Please see CTC’s Facebook and Instagram pages for updates and prayer requests.

As CTC CEO Steve Shackelford recently shared with our staff:

It has certainly felt that we are living in some proverbial “interesting times” … Headlines can sometimes provoke us and nudge us toward anxiety and worry. Yet, of course, we are partakers in the great promises of Scripture and are exhorted to cast our burdens upon the Lord. As we remember these promises, let us be praying for and encouraging one another, and lifting our anxieties and worries to our great Lord.
